How do I add my cancellation policy to my product?

Create a custom cancellation policy to give your customers ease of mind, but also deter last-minute cancellations.

Policies can be added to your products by going to Products > Your Product Name and going to the Pricing tab.  You can select an existing policy or create a new cancellation policy for your products.

 

New Cancellation Policy



Policy Name is the name you give your cancellation policy, it will show up throughout the app and on order confirmations.

Detail. This will be viewed and agreed to by the customer when checking out. It will also be shown on the order confirmation. Please ensure you are clear about your policies to avoid any issues with cancellations.

Preference allows you to choose if cancellations can be handled online by the customer or only by contacting your company.

Fee. Add a fee to reduce last-minute cancellations and allow flexibility, so that people won't hesitate to reserve your product.
Choose if the cancellation fee is a % or flat $ amount.
Is the cancellation fee applied per person canceled, per unit canceled, or for the entire order?
How many hours, days, or years that if canceled in less than will activate the fee.





Tip: You can create multiple cancellation fees so that the fee increases the closer the cancellation is to the product start time. Here are a few examples.
50% cancellation fee per person/unit if canceled less than 24 hours before the product start time
25% cancellation fee per person/unit if canceled less than 72 hours before the product start time
$5 cancellation fee per person if canceled
These fees do not stack, whichever is the most relevant to the cancellation time will be applied.
