How do I set up my product inventory: Save as Template & Generate Inventory

Setting up a template for your inventory in Resmark. You can find this in Products >> Inventory

After you have configured your inventory settings you have two options available:

Save as Template

Generate Inventory and Save as Template

1. Generating Inventory with Variable Dates

2. Automatically Create My Inventory Continually

3. Manually Create Inventory Up to a Specific Date

After completing either of the two options above, you can easily go back and edit or re-use any template you previously saved. To do this go to Products > Inventory > Manage Templates:

There are three automation status levels for your inventory templates. For more information about these automation status levels, see: Template Automation Status.

Caution: All changes to templates will only impact future generated inventory. For more information about editing existing inventory, see: Manually Update Inventory.

Save as Template

Saving your inventory settings as a template is a great way to easily come back in the future to produce additional inventory with settings you previously configured. If you save as a template without generating inventory, the Inventory tab of Resmark will only show you a list of available templates until your inventory has been generated (as seen below).

Generate Inventory and Save as Template

Resmark provides the ability for you to have automated inventory creation as well as manual inventory creation. The inventory generation process will vary depending on how you configured your date and automation settings. To generate your inventory, select Generate Inventory, found at the bottom of the page. If you enabled Automatically Create My Inventory Continually, then you will be required to save your inventory settings as a template. If you selected Variable Dates or Manually Create Inventory Up To A Specific Date, read on.

Note: If you've generated inventory already, you need to open up an existing template or create a new template to generate new inventory.
