How do I set up payment collection requirements for orders?
Choose how you will collect payment upon purchase. You can collect the full amount or wait for payment until a later time. Read on for all of your options.
After defining your price tiers, additional pricing options will automatically generate in the product pricing page. Just above your newly defined price tiers, you'll find the option to set up collection requirements for payments.
Total due upon purchase: The full amount will be due in order to complete an online purchase.
Deposit due upon purchase: Only a specified deposit amount will be due to complete an online purchase.
Define how much money is due upon reservation, you can choose if that amount is based on a percentage of the order or flat amount.
Define how many days before the start date or end date of the reservation that the remaining balance is due.

The credit card number will be collected and validated in order to complete an online purchase, but the card will not be charged upon purchase. This is generally used in situations where the card is processed at the time of check-in or at a later date.
