How to manage price tiers and categories

Price tiers and categories can be created, edited, or deleted through settings

When initially setting up your products there are various steps to get your price tiers and categories set up. If you want to manage your price tiers and categories for all of your products (and connected products) in one place, visit Settings > General > Price Tiers & Categories.

From Settings > General > Price Tiers & Categories, you can create new price tiers and categories, or manage existing ones. If you make changes to any existing price tiers and categories, these changes will be reflected in any applicable products. Your options are as follows:

Participant Price Tiers

Standard Participant Price Tier
These are the default Price Tiers that Resmark provides you with (E.G. Adult, Child, Infant, Senior, etc). If you want to use these standard price tiers but simply want to adjust the label (E.G. changing the 'Child' label to 'Kid'), you can do that from this settings page.

Custom Participant Price Tier
Is Resmark lacking a price tier that you need? Not to worry! You can add that from right here (E.G. Military, Locals, etc)

Connected Participant Price Tier
Are you using the TrueConnect feature of Resmark? If so, and you're reselling products for another company that has given you permission to customize their products, then you can manage the custom price tiers that they have applied to their own products (these changes will only impact your business).

Unit Price Tiers

Custom Unit Price Tier
If your product pricing is centered around units (e.g. ATV, Jetski, Segway, etc), then you can customize unit price tiers to reflect that. Unit price tiers can also be used to reflect pricing based on the size, speed, or other price impacting factors of your units (such as a higher speed ATV may cost more than a basic ATV).

Connected Unit Price Tier
Are you using the TrueConnect feature of Resmark? If so, and you're reselling products for another company that has given you permission to customize their products, then you can manage the custom price tiers that they have applied to their own products (these changes will only impact your business).

Price Category

Price Category
Price categories should only be used if you plan to offer unique pricing to a partner or outside sales source using the connections feature. Price categories need to be applied on a product level, as seen here. If you already have price categories set up, you can rename those from Settings > General > Price Tiers & Categories.
