Exporting WaiverSign Documents and Contacts

Signed Documents and Contact Data can be exported locally at any time, by following a few simple steps.

Exporting Signed Documents in WaiverSign

Each completed document is stored in the Signed Documents section of your account for easy access, and these documents can be exported in bulk. You can begin this process by navigating to Signed Documents > Export Documents.

You can export Contacts as well using the Export Contacts option to the left of Export Documents. This will start a .csv (Excel) file download directly to your device, with no extraction/unzip needed.

Upon requesting your document export, you'll be greeted with a message to check your email for a download link within the next 30 minutes. This email generally shows up within the first couple of minutes and should be from support@resmarksystems.com.

Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you're not seeing the email. If you're still running into issues, be sure to reach out to the Support Team for additional assistance.

Unzipping File Folders

Once you've accessed the download link from your export, your device should download a zipped file folder, containing PDF's of each of your signed documents. You'll want to be sure to unzip that folder to access your documents.

Windows: To unzip your exported folder, you'll want to locate the downloaded file, and right click > select "Extract All" > Extract (You can use Browse to change/specify the install location)

MacOS (Apple): To unzip an exported folder, first locate the downloaded file, typically in your ‘Downloads’ folder. Double click on the file, and it should automatically open through ‘Archive Utility.’ If for any reason the file doesn’t open >  Control-click (or right click with a mouse) > Select ‘Open With’ from the context menu > Choose ‘Archive Utility’ to unzip the file.

If Archive Utility is not an option on your device, you may need to download a new 7Zip application, like Unzip One from the Appstore. You would then follow the same steps above, selecting Unzip One instead of Archive Utility.

You should now have full access to your exported documents. Always feel free to reach out to the Support Team if you have any additional questions!
